Growing up in Davison, MI, Ron was a part of x2 wrestling state championships in 2005 and 2006 under coach Roy Hall. In the 06’ season, he was an integral part of the championship run as his performances in the Big 9 championship and the state finals helped to secure a win.

His Jiu Jitsu journey started in 2017 at Daniel Gracie Philly where he holds a purple belt under Daniel. He has been coaching kids for almost his entire Jiu Jitsu career and is head of the kids program at Daniel Gracie Team Michigan.
